Wireless broadband is a technology whereby a connection to the internet is made by a radio connection to a centrally placed antenna. The centrally placed antenna can act on a point to multi point , or point to point basis. High bandwidth solutions are available from 512K up to 100Mb and above, depending upon the type of radio system used. The connection from a LAN network from the radio and the antenna is via a regular Ethernet cable.
